Look at total sales
We judge ads by total Amazon sales, ranking and profit, not ACOS alone.
Paid ads
We run Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display ads for brands that sell on Amazon and on their own website. Amazon should add profitable sales, not take them from your store.
The problem we fix
Amazon reports ACOS, the share of ad-driven sales spent on ads. It leaves out fees, stock, reviews and the sales Amazon takes from your own website. Here is how that looks (example, made up):
| One month | Amount |
|---|---|
| Sales from the ads | £5,000 |
| Ad spend | £1,000 |
| ACOS (ad spend / sales) | 20% |
| Product and delivery cost | £2,500 |
| Amazon fees | £1,750 |
| Left over | -£250, a loss |
ACOS says 20%. After product, delivery and Amazon fees, £5,000 of sales lose £250.
How we do it
The details change for every brand. These steps do not.
We judge ads by total Amazon sales, ranking and profit, not ACOS alone.
Sponsored Products, Brands and Display each have a clear purpose and budget.
We improve titles, images and product content where they hold the ads back.
Amazon is run in the same plan as Meta, Google and email, so the channels do not compete.

Your industry
Margins, buying habits and seasons differ by industry, so the plan does too.
In food and drink, the first order rarely makes a profit. Repeat orders, gifting seasons and delivery costs decide whether you make money.
Read industry page IndustryElectronics buyers compare specs, prices and reviews before they buy. Your ads and website have to win that comparison without giving away your margin to marketplaces.
Read industry pageWhy one team helps
For brands selling in more than one place, Amazon has to fit the same plan and the same profit target as everything else.

Guides

Each extra pound on the same ads reaches people less ready to buy, so the next customer costs more than the last. A worked example, and what to do instead.
Read it StrategyEach specialist is right about their own channel. None of them is responsible for whether the business grows. That job falls on the founder, and it is the most expensive cost nobody invoices.
